The Basement Self Solve Wall and Floor Sealer seals clean and sound concrete permanently against water and radon gas, provided it is applied in accordance with the instruction manual. The sealer does not stop water or radon seeping through cracks, joints, or openings.

Performance Guarantees

We provide the following performance guarantees on do-it-yourself application by homeowners to concrete in their basement or foundation slab.

Waterproofing guarantee: Basement Self Solve Wall and Floor Sealer will seal poured concrete, concrete blocks, and mortar against positive as well as negative side water pressure and wicking.

Radon reduction guarantee: Basement Self Solve Wall and Floor Sealer must be applied to all basement walls and the floor, or to the entire foundation slab. Basement Self Solve Wall and Floor Sealer will reduce and/or keep the indoor radon level below the Action Limit of 4 pCi/L. However, you must also seal or caulk all cracks, joints, or openings in the basement or slab. The guarantee does not apply to basements with stone foundations, protruding rocks, dirt floor, attached crawlspace, or radon carried in by water from a private well. Let Basement Self Solve Wall and Floor Sealer cure for at least a month before re-testing. If your radon level exceeds 30 pCi/L, you must phone us first for consultation.

Warranty period: Lifetime of the concrete.

Exclusions and Limitations

The concrete must not be leached out or internally silted up due to extensive water seepage. If the concrete has repeatedly seeped water, you must phone us first for consultation.

Poured concrete: The concrete must be at least 28 days old and 3 inches thick. Basement Self Solve Wall and Floor Sealer is not guaranteed to seal integrally colored or stamped concrete, and fiber reinforced concrete.

Concrete blocks: Basement Self Solve Wall and Floor Sealer cannot seal concrete with low cement content like lightweight CMUs or splitface blocks. Although Basement Self Solve Wall and Floor Sealer alone seals most cinder blocks, additional steps are required for the guarantee.

Refund: If you are not satisfied with the results, you must phone us first for consultation and email requested photographs of the basement or slab. In case you subsequently decide to hire a professional contractor to install a de-watering/waterproofing system or a fan-based mitigation system, mail us a copy of the tests and paid contract for a full refund of the price paid for the Basement Self Solve Wall and Floor Sealer (excluding shipping) but not exceeding the cost of the contract.
