About the Basement Tie Rod / Snap Tie Kit

The Basement Self-Solve Tie Rod / Snap Tie Kit is designed to stop water leaking in through tie rods / snap ties. Tie rods and snap ties are the metal rods that run through your poured concrete foundation walls or any small void through a poured concrete foundation. It is injected under pressure to get into small confined voids. It expands and stops water at its source.

The Tie Rod / Snap Tie Kit can also be used to fill the void in a honeycomb area. Honeycomb on a foundation is basically when the foundation is poured and not vibrated properly thus allowing edges to have voids or holes after the forms are removed.

Prep Work

The Basement Self Solve Tie Rod / Snap Tie kit requires a minimum amount of prep work. Clean the area to be injected with a wire brush and clean away any dust or debris. The injection port is then set directly over the tie rod / snap tie and you seal around the port. After it dries then it is ok to start to inject the product.
